The role of R&D in Addressing Climate Change Challenges Facing SMEs

SMEs in our region are facing unprecedented challenges posed by climate change compelling them to rethink approaches, spur technological advancements, and cultivate a culture of innovation towards a sustainable future.

In that context, you are cordially invited to a webinar on March 14th, 2024 at 2 pm on The role of R&D in Addressing Climate Change Challenges Facing SMEs.  A panel of highly qualified researchers will share their insights on the importance of innovation and give practical examples of how research can support SMEs’ response to climate change.

At the end of the webinar, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development will present the Climate Change Innovation Programme funded by the Netherlands through the High Impact Partnership for Climate Action (HIPCA). This programme will support selected SMEs in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco to access the needed research and development to innovate their products and/or processes to enhance their sustainability.
